Child Protection Team Management is a bi-monthly meeting at the Rady Children's Hospital - Chadwick Center involving supervisory and management staff of the San Diego Police Department, San Diego Sheriff Department, the District Attorney's Office, Child Welfare Services, San Diego County Counsel, Rady Children's Hospital , Palomar Hospital and Promises2kids. The goal is to seek ways to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of San Diego's multidisciplinary response to serious child abuse.

Child Victim-Witness Protocol was originally developed in 1991 and updated by the San Diego County Child Victim-Witness Protocol Committee in 2012. It guides the multi-disciplinary coordinated response to child abuse.
San Diego Child Victim-Witness Checklist was added as an addendum to the Victim-Witness Protocol in 2012 in an effort to streamline the mulit-disciplinary team response into a series of practical and working checklists.
